Celebration of World Anatomy Day 2026

As part of the celebration of World Anatomy Day 2026, the Department of Anatomy, HHMC, Nimshirgaon, organized a Diagram-Making Competition for BHMS students to encourage creativity, scientific accuracy, and a deeper understanding of human anatomy.

Students participated enthusiastically and showcased their anatomical knowledge through well-labelled diagrams and illustrations of various anatomical structures. The competition provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their drawing skills, precision, and understanding of anatomical concepts.

Following the competition, a Prize Distribution Ceremony was conducted to recognize and appreciate the efforts and achievements of the participants. The winners were felicitated with prizes for their outstanding performance.

The event fostered academic enthusiasm, encouraged peer learning, and highlighted the importance of anatomical illustration in medical education. The celebration concluded with appreciation for the active participation of students and the efforts of the Department of Anatomy in organizing the event.

 

Celebration of World Organ Donation Day – 13th August 2026
Late Mrs. Housabai Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Nimshirgaon, through the Department of Anatomy, celebrated World Organ Donation Day on 13th August 2026 to create awareness about the importance of organ donation and its role in saving precious lives. The programme aimed to encourage students, staff, and the community to understand the significance of organ donation and inspire them to pledge their organs for transplantation and the benefit of those in need.
