NSS Foundation Day Celebration
The NSS Foundation Day was celebrated at Late Mrs. Housabai Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Nimshirgaon, on 24th September 2025 at 2:00 pm.
The programme included an inspiring seminar by Dr. Jineshwar Annasaheb Yaligouda, recipient of the Best NSS Programme Officer Award 2024–2025 from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. In his address, Dr. Yaligouda highlighted the objectives of the National Service Scheme and encouraged students to actively participate in community welfare and social service activities.
To mark the occasion, a tree plantation drive was also organized, creating awareness about environmental protection and the importance of sustainable green practices.
The event successfully combined knowledge with action, reinforcing the true spirit of NSS among students and staff.

International Breastfeeding Week Celebration
The Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics organized seminars to promote awareness and provide guidance on breastfeeding for pregnant and postnatal women as part of the International Breastfeeding Week celebration.
The seminars were conducted at :
Rajiv Gandhinagar, Jaysingpur – in collaboration with the local Anganwadi and the Inner Wheel Club of Jaysingpur.
Tardal – in coordination with local Anganwadi teachers.
During these sessions, our students actively participated by explaining the importance of breastfeeding, offering dietary advice, and discussing the essential care required during the postnatal period. The initiative aimed to educate and empower mothers for better maternal and child health.

Conference Participation and Achievement Announcement
We are pleased to share that a total of 24 students and 7 faculty members from our institution attended the Eklavya National Conference held at Bhartesh Homoeopathic Medical College, Belagavi, on 6th and 7th July 2025.
Among them, four Final BHMS students —
Mr. Veer Kumar Patil, Miss Disha Gaikwa, and Miss Khushi Mehta, and
Miss Pratiksha Nakate, along with Dr. Omkar Katage, a Faculty Member from the Department of Physiology, was selected for a paper presentation at the conference.
We are proud to announce that Miss Pratiksha Nakate secured Second Rank in the Paper Presentation category.

The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride at Late Mrs. Housabai Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Nimshirgaon. The event was attended by the Principal, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students of the institution.
The celebration commenced at 10:00 AM with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, symbolizing unity, respect, and the values upheld by MUHS. The university flag was unfurled, followed by the singing of the MUHS Anthem, which evoked a sense of belonging and reverence for the university.

On this special occasion of World Water Day March 22, 2025, the Repertory Department of Late Mrs. Housabai Homeopathic Medical College, Nimshirgaon, organized a Poster Making Competition where talented students from IVth BHMS (2024-25 & 2025-26 batches) showcased their creativity with impactful messages on water conservation. Each poster beautifully highlighted the importance of saving water, sustainable usage, and protecting our natural resources.

Additionally, our IVth BHMS (2025-26 batch) students performed a Street Play at Kondigre (Adopted Village), delivering a powerful message on water conservation and its impact on future generations. Their performance inspired the local community, emphasizing the importance of every drop of water in sustaining life.

‘हौसाबाई’ मधील क्रीडा स्पर्धेत ७२० खेळाडूंचा सहभाग
४५ महाविद्यालये; १२० खेळाडू आंतर विभागीयसाठी पात्र

महाराष्ट्र आरोग्य विज्ञान विद्यापीठ राज्य शासन तसेच केंद्र शासन यांच्या आदेशानुसार हौसाबाई होमिओपॅथिक मेडिकल कॉलेजमध्ये विविध क्रीडा स्पर्धांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. विविध जिल्ह्यातील ४५ वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालये, ७२० खेळाडू यात सहभागी झाले. यातून १२० खेळाडूंची निवड आंतर विभागीय स्पर्धेसाठी करण्यात आली. क्रीडा महोत्सवाच्या उद्घाटन समारंभासाठी पद्मश्री मुरलीकांत पेटकर (चंदू चॅम्पियन), खासदार धैर्यशील माने यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती होती. क्रीडा महोत्सवाच्या समारोप कार्यक्रमासाठी आरोग्य विज्ञान विद्यापीठाचे प्रा. डॉ मिलिंद निकुंब उपस्थित होते. एम.यु.एच.एस. नाशिकचे अधिष्ठाता डॉ राजकुमार पाटील, विद्यार्थी कल्याण एम.यु.एच.एस. नाशिकचे डॉ देवेंद्र पाटील, एम.यु.एच.एस. कोल्हापूरचे कुलसचिव उपस्थित होते. पुढील वर्षाचे आंतर विभागीय व राज्यस्तरीय स्पर्धा हौसाबाई कॉलेजमध्ये घेऊ असे अधिष्ठाता डॉ. पाटील यांनी सांगितले. तसेच डॉ सुकुमार मगदूम फाउंडेशन, जयसिंगपूरचे अध्यक्ष डॉ सुकुमार मगदूम, उपाध्यक्षा व कै.सौ. हौसाबाई होमिओपॅथिक मेडिकल कॉलेज व हॉस्पिटल निमशिरगावच्या प्राचार्या डॉ. शुभांगी मगदूम, हौसाबाई ग्रुप ऑफ इन्स्टिट्यूशनचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक तेजस मगदूम यांच्या प्रोत्साहन व मार्गदर्शनाखाली स्पर्धा यशस्वीपणे पार पडल्या.
