Curricular activities – Late Mrs. Housabai Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital

A lecture on “Importance of Research in Homoeopathy” was organized by the Research and Innovation Committee of Late Mrs. Housabai Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Nimshirgaon on 12th March 2026 in the IV BHMS Classroom. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Prashant Tamboli, Director of Dr. M. L. Dhawale Memorial Trust Hospital and Professor, Department of Research and Biostatistics, MLDMHI. During the session, he emphasized the importance of scientific research, evidence-based practice, and innovation in the field of homoeopathy and guided students about research methodology. On this occasion, students who were selected for research activities were felicitated and appreciated for their achievements. The program encouraged students to take active interest in research and contribute to the scientific development of homoeopathy. The session was informative and motivating for students and faculty members.

The Hope for Hopeless Camp was organized at Late Mrs. Housabai Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital on 16th April 2026. The camp was successfully conducted with active participation and support from the faculty and students.

Late. Mrs. Housabai Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital organized various activities on 1st April on the occasion of World Homoeopathy Week. An essay competition was conducted. The topic of the essay competition was “Bharatiya Homoeopathy: Transforming traditional wisdom into tangible science.” Students actively participated and expressed their ideas creatively. A quiz competition was also held. The quiz included questions from Organon, Repertory, Homoeopathic Materia Medica, and History of Homoeopathy. Students participated enthusiastically and showed their knowledge and interest in the subject. The programme was informative, engaging, and successful.

Career Guidance Program was conducted for Interns by Dr Kiran Patil, Professor, HOD Dept of Organon of Medicine, A M Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College, Belgavi organized by Internship Committee, HHMC. Dr Patil focused on various options that can be opted after passing BHMS. He emphasized on Practice, Research and Teaching in Homoeopathy.
